We are deeply appreciative of the Cummings Foundation, City of Waltham, DCU For Kids, MetroWest Foundation, Middlesex Savings Bank, the Waltham Cultural Council and Youth and Philanthropy for their generous contributions that make what we do possible.

 

We are also so grateful for our individual donors which account for a significant source of funding to operate our programs. Donations are generally made as one-off events, during “Giving Tuesday” in November, or during our annual fundraiser (was a virtual campaign in FY20 and FY21 due to Covid-19).

The City of Waltham and the Waltham Housing Authority are champions of the Chesterbrook Community Foundation , and provide the space needed to operate our programs.

 

We are fortunate to have strong partnerships with Bentley University which dedicate hundreds of university volunteers each year to provide free one-on-one support and mentoring for our participants. These volunteers contribute thousands of hours of service to help plan and execute our programs.

 

We have incredible partners doing amazing things in the community. We are so grateful to team up with them to provide free and accessible items and services to residents of Chesterbrook Gardens and Dana Court. A few are listed below:

• Thank you to Dignity Matters for providing enough feminine hygiene products and sports bras to support all menstruating women in the community.

• Thank you to Waltham Fields for hosting food drives and other events locally for residents.

• Thank you to Healthy Waltham for partnering with us to provide fun and exciting educational programming on cooking and nutrition at the after school program and community days over the years.

• Thank you to Pelmeds Pharmacy in Waltham for their partnership in hosting a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic in June and July at no cost to our organization or residents.
